Description

Talisker Resources Ltd. is seeking an experienced Director, Permitting & Stakeholder Engagement to lead permitting strategy and stakeholder engagement activities as our British Columbia mining operations transition toward production. This is a senior individual-contributor leadership role, responsible for advancing permits, maintaining regulatory compliance, and leading engagement with government regulators, Indigenous Nations, and local communities. The role is remote based, with regular travel to site, permitting offices, and community meetings. The Director will act as a trusted internal advisor to senior leadership and work crossfunctionally with environmental, engineering, operations, and external consultants. 

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in permitting regulatory compliance, environmental assessment, and/or stakeholder engagement within mining or resource development.

• Demonstrated experience working with British Columbia regulatory frameworks.

• Proven experience engaging with Indigenous First Nations, government ministries, and community stakeholders.

• Strong understanding of the mine development lifecycle, from exploration through production.

• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and external consultants.

• Project management training or equivalent experience preferred.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 

Location: The position is Remote/Work from Home within British Columbia, with occasional travel to the Bralorne Mine site, Government and permitting offices, Community and Indigenous engagement meetings.  

Job Type: Full-time, Regular Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (40 hours/week).  Compensation Range: CA$135,000.00-CA$175,000.00 per year, depending on experience
