Family Preservation Worker – 1.0 FTE

Summary:
The Family Preservation Worker is responsible for supporting Children and Families in ways that enhance the safety and well-being of children/youth at risk. 

 Qualifications:

  •  2-year diploma in Child & Family, or a related accreditation with direct work experience.

  • Community college diploma with two (2) year direct work experience,

  • A combination of related education, skills, and experience in the field may be considered. 

  • Knowledge and understanding of St’át’imc culture and ability to work with Aboriginal people.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide prevention and early intervention programing support

  • Work individually and with a team

  •  Responsible for records, file maintenance, and reporting.

  • Must be willing to submit to and clear a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
