Manager of Recreation

Reporting to Lillooet’s Chief Administrative Officer, the Manager of Recreation will be an integral part of a senior management team focused on fulfilling Council’s goals and objectives for our community. The Manager of Recreation leads a staff of 4 full-time and up to 12 part-time staff to:
• Operate and maintain the Lillooet & District REC Centre facility, including an NHL-size arena, 25-meter swimming pool, full-size gymnasium, fully equipped weight room, meeting rooms, playing field, skate park, and outdoor tennis court and basketball court;
• Plan and host recreational, educational and cultural programs;
• Oversee operations of outdoor baseball and soccer fields.
