Fort Berens Estate Winery is seeking a Warehouse Associate for its operations in Lillooet. 

This job is part-time (approx. 50%), though hours vary depending on season.

Part-time hours: 24 hours per week

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour


Fort Berens is a winery with a vineyard, a tasting room and an outdoor patio restaurant in Lillooet, BC. Job description

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for shipping and receiving, warehouse management, operating a forklift and for other tasks around the winery. Specifically, the responsibilities include the following:

- Receiving of inbound products and shipments

- Shipping of wine to our wine club members

- Moving products between our warehouses

- Arranging inbound & outbound freight

- Restocking the tasting room

- Set up and take down for events at the winery

- Moving recycling to the transfer station

- Moving glass bottles and wine during bottling days

- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse

- General repair and maintenance


You will be required to operate a forklift on a daily basis. We are looking for a reliable experienced person that has a flexible schedule to help us manage the different daily needs.

We are looking for someone with:

- Forklift ticket

- Driver’s License Class 5 required (higher would be an asset)

- Physically fit capable of lifting 18kg boxes repeatedly

- High standards for hygiene & attention to detail

- Strong work ethic & independent time management

- Proactive and excellent oral communication (English)

- Steel-toed safety boots (mandatory)

Job Duties:

  • Load and unload trucks
  • Move and stack materials
  • Keep production lines supplied with empty containers and packaging materials as needed
  • Rotate floor stock
  • General housekeeping duties in the warehouse or production area and duties as assigned
  • Follow forklift operating guidelines and procedures
  • Receive/process shipments
