Yellowhead Community Services Society is an integrated health/social service agency with offices located in Clearwater, Barriere, Merritt, Lillooet, and Ashcroft. We are currently seeking an Infant Development Consultant to work Full Time, 35 hours per week to support families in meeting the needs of infant and toddlers (birth to 3 years) who have, or are at risk for, developmental delays or disabilities.

Key Duties: The consultant works alongside families in the Lillooet area who participate in the Infant Development Program to collaborate on ways to support their child’s growth and development. Children eligible to participate in the IDP program are those who have an identified developmental disability, or are at risk of a developmental delay or disability.

Hour of Work:

Shifts will typically take place during the day between the hours of 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday – Friday dependent on program needs. This is a full-time position for 35 hours per week.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related health or social service discipline, or a degree/diploma in a relevant field, or working towards an ECE certificate is preferred, however individuals with related experience and/or a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply and will be considered.  Any offers of employment will be subject to a clean criminal record check. A valid Driver’s License, acceptable Driver’s Abstract and access to a safe, reliable vehicle is required. Current first aid would be an asset.

Compensation:

Rate of pay is dependent on experience and ranges from $30.44 to $35.18 per hour + 4% in lieu of benefits.
