Wage Range: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour

Summary:

The Aboriginal Wellness Coordinator (AWC) provides outreach services that supports the interests, needs and rights of Aboriginal children and youth to access quality services.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A Bachelor of Social Work or Child Youth Mental Health Certificates, or a related degree

• A minimum of two (2) years related experience

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support Aboriginal Youth Mental Health Clinician to provide activities that promote positive changes for children, youth, and/or their families.

• Assist the Clinician with orientation services, pre/post-treatment activities, developing a client referral service.

• Work as part of an interdisciplinary health and support services network in the Northern St’at’imc Territory

• Must be willing to submit to and clear a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
