Position Summary

We have a relief part-time (0.52 FTE) Physiotherapist opening in Lillooet, B.C. This position is expected to run until the return (i.e. June 2026) of the current incumbent. This position works Monday, Tuesday and alternating weekends from 08:00 to 16:15.

About the position:

This position offers a Physiotherapist a highly dynamic caseload as in a small town you get to see a little of everything. Majority of the patient caseload is outpatients and home health visits. Other members of the Rehab Team include an Occupational Therapist, a Physiotherapist, and a Rehabilitation Assistant to support rehab treatments and planning.

The Physiotherapist works independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team providing physiotherapy services including assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education of clients and/or their caregivers to promote functional independence and enable the client to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes. The Physiotherapist contributes to the organization and the overall goals of the profession, department; participates in departmental/program quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education; and provides work direction to the rehabilitation assistant working with the rehabilitation team.

Wage: $42.56-$52.95

Qualifications

- Full registration as a Physical Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
- Valid BC Driver’s license required.
