About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and skilled operator to run a Tool Cat for snow removal at three schools in Lillooet, BC. This is an on-call position, working when it snows. The priority is to ensure snow and ice are cleared before schools are in session to provide safe access for students, staff, and visitors.
Job Duties
- Operate a Tool Cat equipped with:
- Automatic sander/salter
- Snow bucket
- Remove snow from sidewalks, walkways, and school grounds
- Salt and sand stairs, sidewalks, and walkways as required
- Ensure snow removal is completed promptly before school hours
- Continue snow clearing and salting if snowfall occurs throughout the night or day
Requirements
- Experience operating a Tool Cat or similar machinery
- Ability to work flexible, on-call hours (overnight or early morning as needed)
- Reliability and commitment to safety are essential
- Must be able to work independently in all weather conditions
Compensation
- $40 per hour
- Negotiable standby wage
