Traffic Control Person (TCP)
Positions Available: 2 | Wage: $24.00/hour | Start Date: Immediate

We are hiring two qualified Traffic Control Persons to join our team as soon as possible. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety-conscious, reliable, and experienced in directing traffic around construction and work sites throughout British Columbia.
Responsibilities

• Safely direct and control the flow of traffic around active work zones

• Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control signage, cones, and barriers in accordance with BC traffic control guidelines

• Communicate effectively with site crews, drivers, and pedestrians to ensure safety at all times

• Monitor traffic patterns and report any hazards or unsafe conditions

• Maintain accurate records/logs as required

• Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures

Requirements

• Valid BC Traffic Control Person (TCP) certification (required)

• Valid driver's license (required)

• Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions

• Strong communication and situational awareness skills

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed

• Previous experience as a TCP is an asset but not mandatory for candidates with valid certification and driver’s license
