Job Description: Housekeeper – Mine Site
Position: Housekeeper
Location: Mine Site (Camp-Based)
Employment Type: Rotation Schedule ( 21 days on / 14 days off or similar)
Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor
Position Summary
We are seeking reliable, hardworking, and safety-focused Housekeepers to join our camp
services team at a remote mine site. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining
clean, safe, and comfortable accommodations and common areas while contributing to a positive
living environment for employees working on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, washrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas.
- Change bed linens and make beds according to company standards.
- Restock linens, toiletries, and housekeeping supplies.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect all assigned areas.
- Remove garbage and recycling and dispose of waste properly.
- Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or safety hazards promptly.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Operate housekeeping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when replenishment is needed.
- Support laundry operations as required.
- Work collaboratively with camp staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping, hotel, camp, or industrial cleaning experience is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 25 kg / 55 lbs), and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a remote camp environment and on rotational schedules.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
Working Conditions
- Remote mine site with camp accommodations provided.
- Rotational schedule (as determined by operational requirements).
- Long shifts in a physically demanding environment.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required in designated areas.
- Transportation to and from the work site may be provided from designated pickup locations.

Wages
Wages are based on a 10 hour day in an averaging agreement in the range of $290-330 per day
