Job Description: Housekeeper – Mine Site
Position: Housekeeper
Location: Mine Site (Camp-Based)
Employment Type: Rotation Schedule ( 21 days on / 14 days off or similar)
Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor
Position Summary
We are seeking reliable, hardworking, and safety-focused Housekeepers to join our camp
services team at a remote mine site. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining
clean, safe, and comfortable accommodations and common areas while contributing to a positive
living environment for employees working on site.
Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, washrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas.
  • Change bed linens and make beds according to company standards.
  • Restock linens, toiletries, and housekeeping supplies.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect all assigned areas.
  • Remove garbage and recycling and dispose of waste properly.
  • Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or safety hazards promptly.
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Operate housekeeping equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when replenishment is needed.
  • Support laundry operations as required.
  • Work collaboratively with camp staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and customer service.

Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping, hotel, camp, or industrial cleaning experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 25 kg / 55 lbs), and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work in a remote camp environment and on rotational schedules.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Working Conditions

  • Remote mine site with camp accommodations provided.
  • Rotational schedule (as determined by operational requirements).
  • Long shifts in a physically demanding environment.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required in designated areas.
  • Transportation to and from the work site may be provided from designated pickup locations.

Wages
Wages are based on a 10 hour day in an averaging agreement in the range of $290-330 per day
