Accounting Technician

Everstead CPA is a community-based accounting practice with two locations in Aldergrove and Lillooet BC.

This is a permanent, full-time position, and will be 37.5 hours per week in person. This position is ideal for an experienced accounting technician or a bookkeeper who is looking to make a change into accounting work. Internal training for applicant without specific year end file preparation and tax preparation experience.

Location 909 Main St. Lillooet BC

Wage: $20.00-$28.00

Job Description

• Preparing working paper files in Caseware for Financial Information preparation

• Preparation of adjusting journal entries

• Preparation of T2 corporate tax returns

• Preparation of T1 personal tax returns.

• Communicating with clients for follow-ups, document requests, and approvals.

• GST, T4, T4A and T5018 filings

• WorkSafeBC filings

Experience

• Experience within a public practice firm is an asset but not required.

• Bookkeeping experience an asset

Skills

• Proficient at Microsoft excel and word

• Knowledge of Caseware is an asset

• Attention to detail

• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

• Positive mindset with a proactive, solutions oriented approach.
