Savona Specialty Plywood Lillooet Veneer Division, located in Lillooet, BC is a producer of high quality veneers for our specialty plywood mill Savona Specialty Plywood, a technologically advanced producer of overlaid MDO and HDO concrete forming panels in North America. With quality fir veneer produced at our Lillooet veneer plant, we are committed to producing panel products exceeding our customers’ expectations.

We are currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the following role in our Lillooet Veneer Division.

• Lillooet is located in southwestern BC, is a very scenic, full service municipality, offering unlimited outdoor recreational opportunities, schools, a hospital as well as a modern recreational facility
• Within a two-hour drive of Whistler and Kamloops and a four-hour drive from Vancouver

CERTIFIED ELECTRICIAN

The Electrician will be a qualified tradesperson holding a valid inter-provincial Journey person ticket. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years experience in an industrial setting as well as extensive experience and knowledge of AB PLC-5 and Controllogix PLC's, RSLogix 5 and 5000 software, AC/DC drives and softstart systems.

Demonstrated safe work habits are essential. The successful candidate must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to effectively participate in a team environment. Strong computer skills are also required. Shift work and weekend work may be required.
