Summer Student Positions

Children’s Program Workers (3 positions) – June 29 to Aug 21 $19.00/hr
The Children’s Program Workers will hold activities for the school aged children within our community through a Summer Day Camp Program.
Children’s Program Leader (1 position) – June 29 to Aug 21 $20.00hr
The Children’s Program Leader will hold activities for the school aged children within our community through a Summer Day Camp Program. The Leader has the additional duties of planning, supervising, managing monies, and ensuring the camp runs smoothly.
Xwísten’s Food Systems Program - June 29 to Aug 21 $19.00


Bridge River Indian Band is seeking Summer Students For the Food Systems Projects the food system program. That will work at the Community Garden, Ancestral project and at the Farm helping Xwísten become food secure The Food System Program focuses on revitalizing traditional food systems, supporting the health of the territory’s climate and ecosystems, increasing food production at the community farm, and providing space in the Community Garden for members to grow food
Preference will be given to the applicants with a valid First Aid Certificate, a FoodSafe Certificate, and/or a valid driver’s license. These positions are open to all youth 15-30 but preference will be given to current high school and post-secondary students returning to school in the fall and to Band members. Successful Candidates will be required to come in to do an interview process with ISETS to see if they qualify.
All applicants must have their Social Insurance Number and Bank information to apply.
