Job Summary

· The role involves collaborating with Lillooet Tribal Council, and Fisheries & Oceans Canada.

· Learning when and where particular stocks or run timing groups are being harvested,

· Entering Data in office setting

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide fishery opening/closure information for distribution to the communities

· Ensure that all catch data forms are filled out correctly before being entered into the DFO MERCI database

· Assist the DFO Catch Monitoring Technician with the entry of catch data into the DFO MERCI database

Qualifications / Experience Include:

· Must pass an Enhanced Reliability security check. (Criminal Record Check)

· Familiarity with Microsoft Office, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint

· Good communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written

· BC driver’s license, would be an asset

· Own transportation would be an asset

COMPENSATION

This position is Part time, Temporary from July 2, 2026 – Sept3, 2026. Wage $22.00 per hour
