Overview
Whistler Therapeutics (dba EarthWolf Farms) is a medically focused cannabis company located
in Lillooet, BC. We operate a certified organic farm and use solventless extraction processes to
make cannabis concentrates and oils which are sold to medical and recreational consumers
across Canada. We hold licenses with both Health Canada and the CRA for cannabis products
and have monthly reporting requirements of Inventory for each agency.
This is a hybrid position that would be mostly work from home with 2 to 3 days per month
spent onsite doing physical inventory audits and reconciliation of batch records. The company
can provide accommodation in Lillooet for days onsite. There is the opportunity for this to
become a full-time position for the right candidate who could also undertake management
duties and if they were to live in Lillooet full time.
 

The Candidate
We are looking for a detail orientated expert of organization. You must be familiar using Sage
50 for bookkeeping and be a superstar in maintain inventory spreadsheets.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain inventory counts of both cannabis and non cannabis products

• Perform bookkeeping with monthly reconciliation of bank accounts and cannabis  inventories

• Create monthly reports of Inventory and sales for regulatory bodies

• Perform quarterly inventory adjustments to calculate COGS and inventory values

• Create invoices for vendors

• Create extraction protocols for members of the production team to follow to collect

          useful data from regular production

• Oversee and coordinate members of the production team to ensure proper data

          collection

• Analyze production and yield data to create valuable insights

• Create summaries of results for review by the management team

Qualifications

•  Proficient using Sage 50 for Bookkeeping

• Vocational training, diploma, or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.

• 2-5 years experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role

• Strong audit and reconciliation skills

•  Strong organization skills

• Strong critical thinking skills

• Ability to work independently

Salary: $70,000-85,000 annually with one month of vacation
Extended Health Plan after 3 months
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00-$36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
