We are currently seeking a Geological Modeler to join our team. Reporting to the Lead Geological Modeler, the Geological Modeler will play a central role in developing and refining 3D geological models that support resource estimation, mine planning, and exploration targeting at Talisker Resources. Based in our Vancouver office with occasional travel to the Bralorne mine site, the Geological Modeler will work to ensure that geological interpretations are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with current exploration and drilling data. 

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field

• Experience in geological modeling and resource estimation workflows considered an asset

• Geological modeling and GIS software proficiency considered an asset

• Experience with coding, automation, and database management considered an asset

• Strong understanding of structural geology, mineralization systems, and QA/QC practices

• Experience working with geoscientific data (drill holes, assays, etc.)

• Effective written and verbal communication skills • Collaborative mindset with the ability to share knowledge and mentor team members

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

• Eligible to work in Canada  

Location: The position is based in Vancouver, BC, with occasional travel to the Bralorne Mine site in Bralorne, British Columbia, as required.

Job Type: Full-time, Regular Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (40 hours/week) with occasional f lexibility or overtime as needed.

Compensation Range: CA$70,000.00-CA$90,000.00 per year, depending on experience
