Wage: $26.00-$28.00

Position Summary
The Program Coordinator reports directly to the CALC Program Manager and is responsible for the overall coordination of CALC programs, as well as providing support to the CALC Manager, Instructors, and students.
The Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting adult learners who wish to successfully complete CALC training. The Program Coordinator supports all components of the program from student recruitment, admissions, retention and successful completion.

Key Responsibilities 
• Conducts information sessions on admissions process
• Conducts student intake and assessments
• Provides direct support service to individual students, small groups, and classrooms.
• Works closely with instructors to monitor student academic performance, behavior, and attendance, and facilitates appropriate interventions.
• Plan, coordinate, market, and implement workshops, training, and special projects
• Recruit and schedule tutors
• Promote and market CALC programs and services
• Function as site supervisor when necessary
• Ensure the safety of students in the Lillooet office and off sight facilities 
• Monitor administrative and student supports budgets
• Monitor budgets, code payables, and purchase orders
• Gather stats and assist with report writing
• Perform other administrative duties when necessary

Skills and Qualifications 
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of Diploma and experience
• Minimum one year recent and relevant experience performing administrative and coordinating duties
• Knowledge of issues and trends in Adult Basic Education.
• Ability to create and maintain organizational procedures.
• Excellent communications skills: written, oral, interpersonal and presentation.
• Strong organizational ability and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Ability to help adult learners understand their strengths and weaknesses; and assist in proactive problem resolution.
• Positive and motivational attitude.
• Experience working with indigenous individuals and organizations.
• Ability to work individually and as a strong team member.
• Advanced in Microsoft Office; intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to produce quality work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to supervise staff when necessary
• Criminal Record Check will be required
• Valid drivers license and use of vehicle
