T'ít'q'et Administration is committed to fostering community wellbeing and supporting our most vulnerable community members. Due to an urgent staffing need, we are seeking dedicated and energetic individuals who are experienced in providing essential medical travel services to community members within the T'ít'q'et community.

POSITION SUMMARY

URGENT HIRING – The Medical Clerk will provide compassionate, professional patient travel and referrals to the nearest and appropriate medical centers, provide clients with proper documentation and forms for medical appointment travel.

Additionally, the Medical Clerk will use and upkeep of medical transportation data systems for FNHA reporting that will be on an ongoing basis.

Moreover, the Medical Clerk maybe required to provide reports, records, and/or documents for funders, Health Lead, or Administration.  Attend meetings as assigned by Administration Health Lead, and maintain all records

WAGE: $20.00-$25.00

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • The work requires the following skills, knowledge, and experience in data entry:

  • Must successfully complete criminal record check, be working with vulnerable community members

  • Have Trauma Informed training an asset

  • Have minimum 2-5 years’ experience in this position an asset

  • Minimum grade 12 diploma but having an Human Services education or certificate is recommended.

  • Medical Office Assistant certificate is an asset

  • Must have valid Class 5 BC Drivers’ License with reliable vehicle.
