About the job

A fantastic opportunity exists for a highly motivated Ranch Manager/Working Couple to join the Monette Farms Team. This is a full-time, permanent position. The successful candidate/couple will coordinate a large cow/calf (+/- 1000 hd) & backgrounding operation in a semi-remote Central BC location. Responsibilities include: management of all aspects of a working cattle ranch including forage production. Some administrative duties are required.

The qualified applicant must have proven experience in animal husbandry including calving, animal welfare, feeding, range riding, grazing, fencing, irrigation, farming and feed production. Must have the ability to lead and supervise ranch crews, be able to handle livestock calmly and effectively, identify and solve problems proactively, maintain equipment and accept responsibility.
