Rate of Pay/Hour :Maintenance Worker Labourer - $31.81

Hours of work: 8 hrs/day (40 hrs/week)

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
Under the direction of the Director of Facilities or the Operations Foreman, the successful applicant is expected
to:

  • Operate School District vehicles and equipment

  • Assist carpenter

  • Perform heavy lifting

  • Perform other job-related duties as required

  • Operate School District vehicles and equipment

  • Perform minor maintenance duties

REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:

  • Physical capability to perform work

  • Ability to operate tractor and other District vehicles

  • Previous experience with towing trailers

  • Valid BC Class 5 driver’s licence

  • Clear Driver’s Abstract

  • Previous similar work experience is preferred

  • Clear Criminal Record check prior to commencing employment

  • Must have WHMIS training

  • Must be able to work at heights

  •  General handyman skills
