                        RADIO LILLOOET(LCTVRA) - CHLS 100.5 FM - STATION MANAGER

Radio Lillooet is hiring a station manager to run the radio station. The successful applicant will report to the board of directors of the society. LCTVRA is a volunteer society that provides The live CHLS100.5 FM broadcast as well as rebroadcast of Kamloops radio CIFM, Vancouver radio CFMI, and CBC2 FM.

Duties :

• setup and administer playlist on station computer

• train and administer local broadcasters

• select and program internet feeds

• write station managers report and attend board meetings twice a year

• compile reports for Socan to pay artists fees

• run your own radio show(optional)

• announcement of community service bulletins such as fire and emergency notices 

Hours: Flexible - approximately 10 hours per week as required

Wage: $1100 to $1300 per month

Training will be provided and support is available. This is an opportunity to create a unique position that suits the participant. We encourage community engagement and support the library programs and local associations.
