Maintenance Worker

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Worker II to join our dedicated and supportive team at Lillooet Hospital and Health Centre.

Wage: $25.70

What will you work on?
As a Maintenance Worker II, you will support the day-to-day upkeep of our facility by performing a variety of general maintenance and repair tasks under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor. Your work will include duties in carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical—replacing door handles, installing wall fixtures, unblocking waste lines, and changing light switches and small appliance motors. Whether you're fixing furniture, servicing plumbing fixtures, or helping maintain equipment, you'll be contributing to a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for staff, residents, and visitors. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with practical skills and a willingness to learn and grow within a supportive team setting.

Qualifications

• Grade 10 education, plus one (1) year's recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
