District of Lillooet is hiring a Bylaw Enforcement Officer!
The District has an opportunity for someone with excellent communication skills to respond to public enquiries and enforce bylaws. The successful incumbent will draw on their proven abilities to deal with the public with tact, work with animals, and keep accurate and organized records. Reporting to the Director of Protective Services, you will be responsible for responding to complaints and liaising with other organizations.
Resumes are being accepted for a temporary part-time union position of Bylaw Enforcement Officer.
We are looking for a customer service-oriented individual who has completed the Bylaw Enforcement Level 1 course through the Justice Institute of BC and has a minimum of two years previous work experience that includes bylaw enforcement or equivalent, and ideally with experience handling animals in an enforcement or equivalent capacity.
